Welcome! We are Communication Research undergraduate students currently taking up Communication Research 165 in the UP College of Mass Communication (UP CMC). The UP Communication Research Department, declared by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as a Center of Excellence in Communication Arts, undertakes research and extension activities benefiting stakeholders from sectors within and beyond the academe. It has been conducting a series of extension research projects on various communication-related topics, such as communication competence (“S’ankamaskomportable?”) in 2006 and “Kompitent Siya” in 2007) and news production and reception (“I-CON: Investigating College Newspapers” in 2008, “Nagpapatrol 24 Oras” in 2007 and “Mulat: Manunuri ng Ulat” in 2008).
